Configuring Drilldown
Copied.
Configuring Drilldown
You can set link interaction to implement drilldown. Link interaction allows users to open a page specified by a link when clicking a component. In a link, users can specify one or more interaction variables. The system can transfer the data clicked on the component to the hyperlink as variable values. In this way, the details can be displayed in a drill-down manner.
Configuring Drilldown
The following uses a carousel table component as an example to describe how to implement drilldown.
- Create a screen and add a carousel table component.
- Click the component. On the Data tab page, expand a series field and configure a link and link mode for the series.
- Link: target link to which the web page points when a data item in component widget is clicked.
- Link Mode: The options are New window, Current page, and Floating panel. Assume that the floating panel mode is selected in this example.
- New window: The target link opens a new browser window.
- Current page: The target link opens a window in the current browser window.
- Floating panel: The target link opens a floating window in the center of the current screen.
Figure 1 Setting a link - Open the Interaction panel of the carousel table component and select Link to enable the link interaction.
You can set the link and link mode for all series. If the link and link mode are set for each series on the Data panel, the settings on the Data panel take precedence.Figure 2 Enabling link interaction
- If you need to use the clicked component data as the value of the interaction variable in the link, click New to create an interaction variable and set the mapping between the interaction variable and field.
For example, create an interaction variable shown in Figure 3. If you click a data record when viewing a screen, the values of the area and series fields corresponding to the data are transferred to the area and table_series variables in the link. In this way, the link displays the corresponding details page.
- After the link is configured, click
in the upper right corner of the page to preview the screen. Then click a data item in the component to open the corresponding link and the details.
