Why Was I Unable to Upgrade to a HUAWEI ID?

Check the following possible causes:

  1. HUAWEI CLOUD account and HUAWEI ID registered using the same mobile number or email address, but you have not yet enabled HUAWEI CLOUD services with your HUAWEI ID:

    Log out of your HUAWEI CLOUD account, log in again using your HUAWEI ID, and associate the account with the ID.

  2. HUAWEI CLOUD accounts and HUAWEI ID registered, and the ID has already been associated with one account:

    Your HUAWEI ID cannot be associated with another HUAWEI CLOUD account. Ignore the upgrade notice during login.

  3. HUAWEI CLOUD account and HUAWEI ID registered in different countries or regions using the same mobile number or email address:

    Ignore the upgrade notice during login.

  4. HUAWEI ID frozen:

    Unfreeze it and try again.

  5. Mobile number already used to register a HUAWEI ID:

    Register a new HUAWEI ID at id.huawei.com and associate your HUAWEI CLOUD account with the new ID.
