How Do I Identify the Type of Attacks?

You can view the traffic report on the Dashboard page of AAD to identify whether the attacks are CC attacks or DDoS attacks.

Procedure

If both CC and DDoS attacks are launched, you can use the following methods to quickly identify the attack type:

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Select a region in the upper part of the page, click in the upper left corner of the page, and choose Security & Compliance > Anti-DDoS Service. The Anti-DDoS page is displayed.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Advanced Anti-DDoS > Dashboard.
  4. View the traffic reports respectively on the DDoS Attack Protection and CC Attack Protection pages and determine the attack types accordingly.
