Viewing a Trace

Scenarios

Once enabled, CTS starts recording operations performed on SWR resources and stores the operation records generated within a week.

This section describes how to view an operation record in the last week on the CTS console.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner to select the desired region.
  3. Click Service List, and choose Management & Governance > Cloud Trace Service.
  4. In the navigation pane, choose Trace List.
  5. In the time range drop-down list in the upper left of the trace list, select a desired query time range: Last 1 hour, Last 1 day, or Last 1 week. You can also select Custom to specify a custom time range within the last seven days.
  6. On the Trace List page, use filters to query traces. You can combine one or more filters and then press Enter. Set basic information as follows:

    • Cloud Service: indicates the name and abbreviation of a cloud service. Select SWR.
    • Trace Name: indicates the name of a trace. For details about the supported trace names, see Table 1.
    • Resource Name: indicates the name of the cloud resource involved in a trace.
    • Operator: Select one or more operators from the drop-down list.
    • Trace Status: Select normal, warning, or incident.
      • normal: The operation succeeded.
      • warning: The operation failed.
      • incident: The operation caused a fault that is more serious than a normal failure, for example, causing other faults.

  7. Click the trace name to view its details.
