Application Scenarios

If a backend server is detected unhealthy, the load balancer will stop routing requests to it. After the backend server recovers, the load balancer will resume routing requests to it.

Solution

Configure a health check for the ELB backend server.

Rule Logic

  • If the health status of an ELB backend server is not "ONLINE", the server is non-compliant.
  • If the health status of an ELB backend server is "ONLINE", the server is compliant.
