Configuring Work Item Fields

Constraints

The preset system work item fields cannot be edited or deleted.

Prerequisites

You must have the permissions of the Tenant Administrator role.

Creating a Work Item Field

1. Access the CodeArts Req homepage and click .
2. Choose All Account Settings.
3. Choose Work Item Management > Basic Settings > Work Item Fields. The preset work item fields are displayed.
4. Click Create Field. In the displayed dialog box, set the new field information, including Field Name, Field Type, and Description.
5. Click Publish. The new field is displayed in the list.
   You can perform the following operations on a new field.

   Operation	Description
   Edit field	Click to modify the field name, type, and description.
   Delete field	Click . In the displayed dialog box, click Delete to delete the field. NOTE: If the current field has been associated with a work item type, cancel the association before deleting the field.
