Configuring Downstream Projects for an RR

Configure downstream projects for an RR, including configuring assignment projects and breakdown projects.

Constraints

You can select a maximum of 100 downstream projects for an RR.

Assignment Projects

Configure target projects for assigning your raw requirements. If not configured, all projects in your tenant are available.

  1. Go to the project and choose Settings > Work Item > RR Collaboration.
  2. On the Assignment Projects tab, click Collaborate With Downstream Projects. The Add Collaboration Downstream Project dialog box is displayed.
  3. Search for and select the projects to be added.
  4. Click Add to add downstream projects.

    The downstream projects that have been successfully added are displayed on the Assignment Projects tab.

Breakdown Projects

Configure target projects for breaking down your raw requirements.

  1. Go to the project and choose Settings > Work Item > RR Collaboration.
  2. Click Breakdown Projects > Add Downstream Project. The Add Downstream Project dialog box is displayed.
  3. Search for and select the projects to be added.
  4. Click Add to add downstream projects.

    The downstream projects that have been successfully added are displayed on the Breakdown Projects tab.

    After a downstream project is added, it can be configured as the Responsible Project of an R&D requirement broken down from a raw requirement.
