Deleting a Tag

Deleting a Tag from the Root, OUs, or Accounts

Scenario

The following describes how to delete a tag from the root, OUs, or accounts.

Procedure

You delete tags from the root, OUs, and accounts in the same way. The following uses deleting a tag from an OU as an example.

  1. Log in to Huawei Cloud as the organization administrator or using the management account, navigate to the Organizations console, and access the Organization page.
  2. Select the OU whose tag you want to delete and click the Tags tab in the pane on the right. Then, click Edit Tag.

  3. In the displayed dialog box, locate the tag to be deleted and click Delete.

Deleting a Tag from a Policy

Scenario

The following describes how to delete tags from custom SCPs and tag policies.

Procedure

The procedures for deleting tags from custom SCPs and tag policies are similar. The following uses deleting a tag from a custom SCP as an example.

  1. Log in to the Organizations console as an organization administrator or using the management account.
  2. On the Policies page, click Service control policies.
  3. Click the name of a policy to go to the policy details page.
  4. Click the Tags tab and click Edit Tag.

  5. In the displayed dialog box, locate the tag to be deleted and click Delete.
