Global Search

You can search for scripts or jobs in the current workspace or all workspaces. Both fuzzy search and exact search are supported.

Notes and Constraints

A maximum of 10,000 search results can be displayed.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DataArts Studio console.

    For details, see Accessing the DataArts Studio Instance Console.

  2. On the DataArts Studio console, locate a workspace and click DataArts Factory.
  3. Choose Develop Job or Develop Script in the navigation pane, and click to go to the Global Search page.

  4. Select All workspaces or Current workspace to perform fuzzy search for scripts or jobs. Enter two or more characters to search for them.
  5. Advanced global search functions are supported. The following steps describe how to perform advanced search.
  6. Click Advanced Search. There are two tabs: Fuzzy Search Criteria and Exact Search.

      Search Scope

      • Scripts
      • Development jobs

      Node Type

      Node type, for example, MRS Hive SQL, DataMigration Offline, or DataMigration Real-time

      Script Type

      Script type, for example, Hive SQL

      Job Type

      • Batch
      • Stream

      Owner

      Script or job owner

      Select My nodes to set yourself as the owner.

      Last Changed At

      Last time when a script or job was modified

      Last Change

      • Save
      • Submission

      Scheduling Status

      This parameter is displayed only when Last Change is set to Submission.

      • Scheduled
      • Unscheduled

      If you select Scheduled, only periodically scheduled jobs that are running will be displayed.

      Search Parameters

      If you select All job parameters, all content in the metadata will be searched for, including the SQL statements, job names, script names, IDs, and job parameters and values.

      Matching Mode

      • Common: You can search for jobs or scripts in the current workspace or all workspaces by script type or node type.
      • Fuzzy: You can perform a fuzzy search by keyword.
      • Special characters: Special characters are used for matching.

  7. Click Search to search for desired scripts or jobs.
    • A maximum of 10,000 search results can be displayed.
    • In the search result, the search fields are highlighted.
    • For a job in the search result, the job name, node name, workspace, owner, last modification time, and matched script content are displayed.
    • For a script in the search result, the script name, script type, workspace, owner, last modification time, and matched script content are displayed.
    • The matched script content can be quickly copied.
