Creating a Dashboard

To monitor the overall resource usage of a resource, you can select a dashboard template to create a dashboard. This allows you to view key metrics of the resource. After creating a dashboard, you can adjust the graphs as needed. This section describes how to create a dashboard.

Constraints

  • The following cloud services are supported: Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Relational Database Service (RDS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), MapReduce Service (MRS), Cloud Search Service (CSS), TaurusDB, Distributed Cache Service (DCS), Object Storage Service (OBS), Content Delivery Network (CDN), Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR), GaussDB, Distributed Message Service (DMS), Elastic Load Balance (ELB), Document Database Service (DDS), GeminiDB, and Elastic Volume Service (EVS).

    DDS, GeminiDB, and EVS are available only in some regions. They will be available in other regions later. For the latest information, check the console.

  • Currently, you can create a maximum of 10 dashboards. To request more, you can submit a service ticket to increase the quota. For details, see Quotas.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Cloud Eye console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose My Dashboards > Dashboards.
  3. On the Dashboards page, click Create Dashboard in the upper right corner.
  4. On the Create Dashboard page, select a dashboard template.
  5. Click OK.
