Managing the Customer Center

A tenant administrator or an agent can view customer information and customer contact records, and add customer information.

Prerequisites

  • The common agent has the Customer Center Management menu permission and the Edit Contacts, Batch Edit Contacts, and Import Contacts permissions. By default, a tenant administrator has this permission.
  • The Customer Center feature has been enabled for the tenant space.
  • The tenant parameter Display Unified Customer Contact Information has been set to Yes.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the AICC as a tenant administrator and choose Customer Center > Customer Center Management.
  2. On the Public Phonebook or Personal Phonebook tab page, set search criteria to search for customer information based on the criteria.

    Search for name/mobile number

    Enter the name, mobile number, or email address for searching for customer information.

    The value can contain 0 to 255 characters.

    Organization

    Drop-down list

    OU. Search criterion.

    OUs are classified into Unorganized and organized OUs.

    You can filter organized OUs by keyword.

    Value options:

    • Tenant administrator: Unorganized and all OUs under the current tenant are available.
    • Common agent:
      • If the tenant parameter Has the tenant enabled inter-organization data isolation enforcement is set to Yes, accessible OUs are available.
      • If the tenant parameter Has the tenant enabled inter-organization data isolation enforcement is set to No, Unorganized and all OUs are available.

    You can click to clear the field.

    You can select Include Sub-Organizations to search for customers of sub-OUs. If an OU with the number of sub-OUs exceeding the value of the system parameter Maximum number of OU organizational unit queries is selected, only the first x (the value of Maximum number of OU organizational unit queries) sub-OUs are selected.

    If the system parameter SCDomain on AppCube is left empty, AppCube is not integrated with the AICC. In this case, this parameter is not displayed.

    Button

    Refresh the page.

    Button

    Import customer information.

    This button is not displayed if the agent does not have the write permission on any OU or the Import Contacts permission.

    Batch Delete

    Button

    Select names and delete them.

    This button is not displayed if the agent does not have the write permission on any OU or the Batch Edit Contacts permission.

    Create

    Button

    Add customer information.

    This button is not displayed if the agent does not have the write permission on any OU or the Edit Contacts permission.

  3. Add a customer on the Public Phonebook tab page.

    You can add customers one by one or import customers in batches as required.

    • Adding customers one by one
      1. Click Create.
      2. Configure customer information.

        Contact Number

        Click on the right to add a mobile number. A maximum of five mobile numbers can be configured.

        The value can contain 0 to 20 digits.

        Click on the right to add an email address. A maximum of two email addresses can be configured.

        The value can contain 0 to 128 characters.

        Company

        Text box

        Company to which a customer belongs.

        The value can contain 0 to 80 characters.

        Address

        Drop-down list

        Contact address of a customer.

        Address Detail

        Text box

        Detailed contact address of a customer.

        The value can contain 0 to 80 characters.

        Channel

        Drop-down list+text box

        Channel information.

        Click to add a channel.

      3. Click Save.
    • Importing customers in batches
      1. Click .
      2. Click Customer Information Import Template to obtain the import template.
      3. Open the downloaded template file and configure the data to be imported by referring to Figure 1.

        1. customerName: This field is mandatory. Other fields are optional.
        2. customerName, additionalAddress, company, and remark: It is recommended that the values contain a maximum of 80 characters.
        3. cellPhone1, cellPhone2, cellPhone3, cellPhone4, and cellPhone5: It is recommended that the values contain a maximum of 20 characters. email: It is recommended that the value contain a maximum of 128 characters.
        4. gender: The value can only be male, female, or unKnownSex.
        5. country, province, city, and area: The values are address names preset in the address instance list. Invalid address data is not imported.
        6. Duplicate records in the table are not verified. All records are new customer records.
        7. When importing data, delete the readme sheet from the downloaded template.
      4. Save the file.
      5. Click and select the configured .xlsx file.
      6. Click Save to upload the customer information.

  4. Add a customer on the Personal Phonebook tab page.

    You can add customers one by one or import customers in batches as required.
