Configuring the ROMA Connect Information
Scenario
If an application requires a connect to ROMA Connect, this section describes the configuration steps, applicable in scenarios such as:
- Scenarios 1: After connecting to ROMA Connect using a connector, you can call ROMA Connect service APIs to integrate ROMA Connect services. For details about how to configure a connector, see Interconnecting with ROMA Connect to Call Service APIs.
- Scenarios 2: You can configure data access to integrate messages from ROMA Connect, report and convert messages into internal events. For details about how to configure data access, see Integrating Message Data into Huawei Cloud Astro Zero Through the Data Access Function.
Constraints
Ensure that ROMA Connect and Huawei Cloud Astro Zero to be connected belong to the same Huawei account.
Configuring ROMA Connect Information
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud Astro Zero console and click Access Homepage. The application development page is displayed.
- In the upper left corner of the page, click
and choose Environments > Environment Configuration.
- In the navigation pane, choose Integrated Connection > ROMA Connect Settings.
- Configure a ROMA Connect instance by referring to Table 1, and click Save.

Description
AZ
AZ where the ROMA Connect instance is located.
Instance ID
ID of the ROMA Connect instance to be interconnected.
Log in to the ROMA Connect console and view the ID of the ROMA Connect instance to be connected. For details, see Viewing Details of an Instance.
APIC Address
Gateway address of API Connect (APIC).
APIC is an API integration component of ROMA Connect. It opens data and backend services as APIs to simplify data sharing and service provisioning and reduce the cost on interconnection between enterprises. After setting this parameter, configure a connector to call ROMA Connect APIs.
NOTE:Domain names cannot be used to access ROMA Connect.
The format is https://EIP bound to the ROMA Connect instance:1080.
To obtain the EIP, go to the instance information page on the instance console, click the basic information tab, and locate the EIP bound to the ROMA Connect instance. For details, see Viewing Details of an Instance.
MQS Connector Address
Address of ROMA Connect MQS. Multiple addresses can be configured, separated by semicolons (;).
Message Queue Service (MQS) is a message integration component of ROMA Connect. Kafka-based MQS uses a unified message access mechanism to provide enterprises with secure and standard message channels for cross-network access. After this parameter is set, you can configure data access to integrate message data from ROMA Connect.
NOTE:Domain names cannot be used to access ROMA Connect.
The format is MQS (public network) address:9776.
To obtain the MQS public connection address, go to the instance information page on the instance console and click the basic information tab.
