Deleting Domain Names

If your services change and you no longer need to protect a domain name, you can delete the domain name on the Domain Name Access page.

Before deleting a domain name, you need to ensure that the DNS domain name provider has changed the CNAME record to the real IP address and confirm that the domain name resolution does not go through AAD. Otherwise, deleting the domain name will cause service interruption or unavailability.

Deleting Domain Names

  1. Log in to the AAD console.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Advanced Anti-DDoS > Domain Name Access. The Domain Name Access page is displayed.
