Upgrading the Edge for Linux
Symptom
If in the Edge device list, Upgrade available is displayed in the Version column of your device, the installed Edge is not the latest version. To ensure complete functions, you need to upgrade the Edge to the latest version.
Procedure
- Sign in to the MgC console from the Linux server where Edge of an earlier version is installed.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Tools.
- In the Linux area, click Download Installation Package or Copy Download Command to download the Edge installation program to the Linux server.
- Install the latest version of Edge. For details, see Installing Edge for Linux.
