Deleting the Direct Reading Configuration of a Bucket (SDK for Python)
Function
This API is used to delete the direct reading configuration of a bucket.
After the direct reading configuration is deleted, ArchiveCold objects in the bucket cannot be directly read. If you then perform operations on ArchiveCold objects that have not been restored or are being restored, a 403 Forbidden error will be returned.
For a bucket that has direct reading configured, you can delete the direct reading configuration of the bucket. After the deletion, ArchiveCold objects in the bucket cannot be directly read. For more information about direct reading, see Direct Reading.
Restrictions
- To delete the direct reading configuration of a bucket, you must be the bucket owner or have the required permission (obs:bucket:DeleteBucketInventoryConfiguration granted using IAM or DeleteBucketInventoryConfiguration granted using a bucket policy). For details, see Introduction to OBS Access Control, IAM Custom Policies, and Creating a Custom Bucket Policy.
- The mapping between OBS regions and endpoints must comply with what is listed in Regions and Endpoints.
- Direct reading is not available for fusion buckets.
