Description

GTL/4/NEARDEADLINE:OID [OID] License feature [OCTET] is near deadline, remain time is [INTEGER] days, main board name is [OCTET].

The trap was generated when the system date was approaching the deadline of the service module defined in the license, that is, when the license entered the trial status.

Impact on the System

If the new license file is not applied for and activated before the probation period of the existing license file expires, the function items subject to the license will become unavailable and resource items will run as a smaller default value.

This trap is reported once a day within the trial period.

Possible Causes

The license was approaching the deadline and soon would become invalid.

Procedure

  1. This trap indicates that the current license file nearly reaches the deadline, and you should apply for the new license file before the deadline.
  2. Use the new license file and run the license active license-name command to activate it.
  3. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

Clearing

After the fault is rectified, the system clears this alarm, removing the need to manually clear it. This alarm will not be displayed on the Current Alarms page.
