Disable Forced Volume Unmount on Timeout
Toggling this on prevents storage volumes from being forcibly unmounted in the event of a timeout.
If toggled off (the default), CCE prioritizes fast service self-healing and forcibly detaches the disk after a timeout so it can be attached to another node. If this function is toggled on, CCE keeps the volume mounted to prioritize data safety and protect the file system from being corrupted by simultaneous data write operations of multiple nodes in a network partition.
Value Range
true or false
Default Value
false
Modifiable

Scope
CCE standard and Turbo clusters
Suggestions
In most production environments, keep the default setting, which allows storage volumes to be forcibly unmounted after a timeout. In specific scenarios where traditional Fibre Channel or iSCSI block storage and databases like MySQL primary/secondary that require strict data consistency, toggle it on.
