Deployment Architecture
Before deploying the SAP system, you can choose a hybrid architecture or a full-cloud architecture to deploy the SAP system.
- Full-cloud architecture
You can deploy the entire SAP system on HUAWEI CLOUD and access the SAP system through IPSec VPN or Direct Connect connections. Figure 1 shows the architecture. The following scenarios are supported:
- Deploy a new SAP system on HUAWEI CLOUD.
- Migrate existing on-premises SAP systems to HUAWEI CLOUD.
- Hybrid architecture
HUAWEI CLOUD allows a hybrid deployment that employs both on-cloud and on-premises systems. You can deploy systems such as the test system, the training and demonstration system, the development system, and the quality assurance system on HUAWEI CLOUD, and connect the development system and the quality assurance system to the on-premises production system. You can access the VPC network through IPSec VPN or Direct Connect to establish connections among the production, development, and test systems.
