EulerOS 2.9 running on CCE nodes will be end of maintenance (EOM) on December 31, 2025. For more information, see EOS Plan.
Impact of EOM
- Users of EulerOS 2.9 will no longer receive software maintenance or support, including bug fixes and feature updates after December 31, 2025.
- Following the EOM of EulerOS 2.9, CCE will prohibit the creation of new nodes using the EulerOS 2.9 image. Existing nodes created with the EulerOS 2.9 image will continue to run, but upgrading the Kubernetes version may result in incompatibility with the EulerOS 2.9 image.
If your cluster still has nodes running EulerOS 2.9, replace the EulerOS 2.9 image with another image as soon as possible to ensure service continuity. For details about the OSs that can be used, see Node OSs.
