TaurusDB rollout

  • TaurusDB is a MySQL-compatible, enterprise-grade distributed database service. It decouples compute from storage and uses Huawei-developed Data Function Virtualization (DFV), which scales to up to 128 TB per instance. A failover can be complete within seconds. It provides the superior performance and high availability of a commercial database at the price of an open-source database.
  • TaurusDB provides many functions including:

Creating a DB instance, changing a DB instance name, changing a DB instance description, rebooting a DB instance, deleting a DB instance, resetting the administrator password, changing CPU and memory specifications, changing the database port, changing the private IP address, creating parameter templates, modifying instance parameters, creating a manual backup, downloading backups, restoring a backup to a DB instance, viewing monitoring metrics, viewing error logs, and viewing slow query logs.
