Viewing the Details of a Server

Scenarios

After the Agent is installed and started on a source server, it automatically reports the source server information to SMS. All collected data is used for migration only. For details, see What Information Does SMS Collect About Source Servers? You can log in to the SMS console to view the server information at any time. You can see source server details, target server configurations, migration status, and error messages if any.

Procedure

1. Log in to the SMS console.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Servers.
3. Click the name of the server you want to view.

4. On the displayed page, view the information about the server.
   • On the Basic Information tab page, you can view the migration settings, the target server settings, and the migration progress.
   • On the Task Tracing tab page, you can view the migration status and progress.
   • On the Source Check tab page, you can view the check results of each item and causes of failed check items.
   • On the Disks tab page, you can view the disks and partitions of the source server.
   • On the NICs tab page, you can view the source NIC information.
