Changing the Route Policy Associated with an Enterprise Router

This section describes how to change the route policy for an enterprise router.

Notes and Constraints

Route policies change the paths through which traffic passes. Evaluate the impact on your services before changing the route policy associated with an enterprise router.

Changing the Route Policy for an Association

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. Click Service List and choose Networking > Enterprise Router.

    The Enterprise Router page is displayed.

  4. Search for the target enterprise router by name.
  5. Go to the Route Tables tab page using either of the following methods:

    • In the upper right corner of the enterprise router, click Manage Route Table.
    • Click the enterprise router name and click Route Tables.

  6. Click the target route table and then the Associations tab.

    The association list is displayed.

  7. Locate the row that contains the target association and click Modify in the Operation column.

    The Modify Association dialog box is displayed.

  8. Select the route policy and click OK.

    If there is no desired route policy, create one by referring to Creating a Route Policy.

    Return to the association list. You can see that the route policy has been associated with the corresponding association.

Changing the Route Policy for a Propagation

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. Click Service List and choose Networking > Enterprise Router.

    The Enterprise Router page is displayed.

  4. Search for the target enterprise router by name.
  5. Go to the Route Tables tab page using either of the following methods:

    • In the upper right corner of the enterprise router, click Manage Route Table.
    • Click the enterprise router name and click Route Tables.

  6. Click the target route table and then the Propagations tab.

    The propagation list is displayed.

  7. Locate the row that contains the target propagation and click Modify in the Operation column.

    The Modify Propagation dialog box is displayed.

  8. Select the route policy and click OK.

    If there is no desired route policy, create one by referring to Creating a Route Policy.

    Return to the propagation list. You can see that the route policy has been associated with the corresponding propagation.
