Enabling or Disabling a Load Balancer

Scenario

You can enable or disable a load balancer at any time. The load balancer stops receiving and routing traffic after it is disabled.

Disabled load balancers will still be charged.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. In the upper left corner of the page, click and select the desired region and project.
  3. Hover on in the upper left corner to display Service List and choose Network > Elastic Load Balance.
  4. Locate the load balancer, and click More > Enable or More > Disable.
  5. Click Yes.
