Viewing Audit Logs

After you enable CTS, the system starts recording operations on DSC. Operation records generated during the last seven days can be viewed on the CTS console.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page. In the dialog box displayed on the right, choose Management & Deployment > Cloud Trace Service.
  4. In the navigation pane, choose Trace List.
  5. On the displayed page, you can query traces by setting the filtering criteria. You can select one or more of the following filters to query your traces:

    • Trace Type, Trace Source, Resource Type, and Search By
      • Select Management for Trace Type.
      • Select DSC for Trace Source.
      • When you select Resource ID for Search By, enter a resource ID.
    • Operator: Select a specific operator (a user rather than tenant).
    • Trace Status: Available options include All trace statuses, normal, warning, and incident. You can only select one of them.
    • Time Range: In the upper right corner of the page, you can query traces in the last one hour, last one day, last one week, or within a customized period.

  6. Click Query.
  7. Click on the left of a trace to expand its details.

  8. Click View Trace in the Operation column. On the displayed dialog box, the trace structure details are displayed.
