Creating a Function

Procedure

On the top menu bar, choose Database Management. On the displayed Objects page, select Functions, and click Create Function.
In the displayed dialog box, specify the function name, returned value, and description, and click OK.
On the displayed page, edit the function body.
In the upper left corner, click Option. In the displayed dialog box, set required parameters and click OK.
Click Save, or click Execute and view the status in the Message area.
