Real-Name Authentication Types
| Account Type | Authentication Type | Reference |
|---|---|---|
| Individual account | Individual certificate authentication (one to three working days) | |
| Enterprise account | Enterprise certificate authentication (one to three working days) |
Differences Between Individual and Enterprise Authentication
The main difference lies in account ownership.
- An individual account belongs to an individual.
- An enterprise account belongs to an enterprise.
Individual real-name authentication is suitable for individuals.
Enterprise real-name authentication is suitable for enterprises, public institutions, social groups, and individual businesses.
The account type you select will greatly affect your account ownership. For example, if an individual account is authenticated as an enterprise account, the individual account may face inconvenience or financial liabilities if the account owner is changed, the account is in arrears, or any account disputes occur.
