The values of the following data types in the source Oracle database are out of the ranges of the MySQL database, causing the migration failure.

Failure Cause and Handling Suggestion

Alarm Information

  1. Ensure that the primary key or unique key column cannot contain values of character string data types when you map the MySQL data types to the character data types in Oracle. Otherwise, data inconsistency or migration failure may occur.
  2. Due to differences between Oracle and MySQL databases, the migration will fail if the values of the following data types in the source Oracle database are out of the ranges of MySQL database: number, intl, float, double, date, and timestamp.

Handling suggestion: Contact technical support.
