Privacy Statement

1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Data

To complete the required verification for calling Huawei Cloud open APIs, the SDK needs to use the access key (AK) downloaded from the Huawei Cloud console for signing. This process does not upload your secret access key (SK).

By default, this SDK adds additional information to the User-Agent request header. The additional information includes the SDK language used by the client to call services, client library version, operating system, time zone, language information, and a random identifier. This information helps protect your Huawei Cloud account and IAM users. You can customize User-Agent to disable this default behavior.

2. Data Processing Method

When you use service open APIs provided by this SDK, your related data (such as uploaded files and submitted text) will be transmitted securely via an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to the Huawei Cloud server side for processing.

All computing, storage, and analysis are performed on the server side. No data is locally processed or persistently stored on the application client. Huawei Cloud will independently process the data as a data processor in accordance with its service agreement and privacy policy. We only initiate API requests as a controller.
