Changing a Pay-per-Use Instance to Yearly/Monthly

This section describes how to change a pay-per-use GeminiDB Redis instance to yearly/monthly. To use a pay-per-use instance for a long time, you can change it to yearly/monthly to reduce costs.

Usage Notes

  • Only when the status of a pay-per-use instance is Available, its billing mode can be changed to yearly/monthly.

Changing the Billing Mode of a Single Pay-per-Use Instance to Yearly/Monthly

  1. Log in to the GeminiDB console.
  2. On the Instances page, locate the target instance and click Change to Yearly/Monthly in the Operation column.

    Alternatively, click the instance name to go to the Basic Information page. In the Billing Information area, click Change to Yearly/Monthly in the Billing Mode field.

  3. On the displayed page, specify a subscription duration in month. The minimum duration is one month.

    Confirm the settings and click Pay Now.

  4. Select a payment method and click Pay.
  5. View the results on the Instances page.

    In the upper right corner of the instance list, click to refresh the list. The instance status will become Available after the change is successful. The billing mode changes to Yearly/Monthly.

Changing the Billing Mode of Pay-per-Use Instances to Yearly/Monthly In Batches

  1. Log in to the GeminiDB console.
  2. On the Instances page, select the instances whose billing mode you want to change and click Change to Yearly/Monthly above the instance list.

  3. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.

  4. On the displayed page, specify a subscription duration in month. The minimum duration is one month.

    Confirm the settings and click Pay Now.

  5. Select a payment method and click Pay.
  6. View the results on the Instances page.

    In the upper right corner of the instance list, click to refresh the list. The instance status will become Available after the change is successful. The billing mode changes to Yearly/Monthly.
