Can I Change the AZ for an Instance?

No. To use a different AZ, buy another instance and migrate metadata to it.

To migrate instance metadata, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the management UI of the original instance.
  2. On the Overview tab page, click Download broker definitions to export the metadata.

  3. Log in to the management UI of the new instance. On the Overview tab page, click Choose File and select the metadata exported from 2.
  4. Click Upload broker definitions to upload the metadata.
