How Long Are Messages Be Retained?

Normally, messages are retained until they are consumed. But if a message has a time to live (TTL), it will be retained until expiry.

If a message has a time to live (TTL), it will be deleted or stored to a dead letter queue after expiry. A TTL is 48 hours by default.
