Migration Network

OMS can transfer data efficiently, securely, and reliably. It supports large file upload and download in segments and fast migration of a large amount of data. It also supports resumable data transfer. If a migration is interrupted due to exceptions such as network interruptions, OMS continues the transfer from exactly where it left off instead of starting from the scratch. This ensures data integrity and migration continuity.

Scenario 1: Cross-Region or Cross-Cloud Migration
OMS reads objects from the source object storage system over the Internet and writes the objects to Huawei Cloud OBS. You must use OMS in the region where the destination bucket is located.
Scenario 2: Intra-Region Migration
OMS reads objects from the source bucket and writes the objects to the destination bucket in the same region over the intranet. You must use OMS in the region where the source and target OBS buckets are located.
