How Do I Manually Configure Time Synchronization on a Windows Desktop?

Updated on 2023-12-04 GMT+08:00

If the system time of a Windows user desktop is different from the standard time and has not been automatically synchronized for a long time, perform the following steps to manually synchronize the time:

  1. Right-click in the lower left corner of the desktop and choose Run from the shortcut menu.
  2. Enter cmd and press Enter to open the command-line interface (CLI).
  3. Run the following command to synchronize the desktop time:

    w32tm /resync /rediscover

If the command is executed successfully, the time synchronization is successful.

  4. The system time is the same as the standard time.
