How do I modify the HDFS NameSpace (fs.defaultFS) of an existing cluster?
Answer:
You can modify or add the HDFS NameSpace (fs.defaultFS) of the cluster by modifying the parameters in the core-site.xml and hdfs-site.xml files on the client. However, you are not advised to perform this operation on the server.
