Creating a TaurusDB Instance

This section describes how to create a TaurusDB instance that is in the same VPC and security group as the ECS-hosted MySQL server.

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console and select EU-Dublin.
3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > TaurusDB.
4. In the upper right corner, click Buy DB Instance.
5. Configure basic information for the instance.
6. Configure instance specifications.
7. Select the VPC and security group.

   The VPC and security group have been created in Creating a VPC and Security Group.

8. Configure the instance password.
9. Configure an enterprise project.

10. Click Next.
11. After confirming the settings, click Submit.
12. Return to the instance list.

    If the instance status becomes Available, the instance has been created.
