When Is the Fee Deducted for Auto Renewals?
- If you do not set a fee deduction date for auto renewals, the system will deduct the fee at 03:00 (GMT+08:00) seven days before the resource expires. Once you set a fee deduction date, the system deducts the fee at 03:00 (GMT+08:00) on the specified date. Ensure that you have sufficient account balance or credits in your added credit card. For details about how to set a fee deduction date for auto renewals, see Setting a Fee Deduction Date for Auto Renewals.
- If the fee deduction for an auto renewal fails due to insufficient account balance or credits of your added credit card, the system will attempt to deduct fees at 03:00 (GMT+08:00) every day before the resource expires. Once the fee deduction is successful, the resource is renewed.
- If you enable auto-renewal for a nearly expired resource that will expire before 03:00 (GMT+08:00) on the expiration date, the renewal may fail. To prevent this, the auto-renewal fee is deducted immediately upon enabling auto-renewal.
