When Do Renewed Resources Take Effect If They Are Renewed Before Expiration?
If you renew a resource before it expires, the new duration starts from the original expiration time instead of the renewal time.
Example:
On January 01, 2025, you purchased a monthly EVS disk, and it would expire at 23:59:59 on February 01, 2025. On January 02, 2025, you renewed the EVS disk for one month.
- If you did not set a renewal date, the EVS disk would expire at 23:59:59 on March 01, 2025.
- If you had set the renewal date to the last day of each month, the renewal duration is one year plus 30 days, and the EVS disk would expire at 23:59:59 on March 31, 2025.
