Why Am I Billed Twice in a Month for a Monthly Resource?

If Auto-renewal is set for your monthly resources, the resources will be billed 7 days before they expire by default. In the month when the resources are subscribed to, you will be billed twice, one for the new purchase and the other for the auto-renewal.

For example:

On April 2, 2024, you have subscribed to a monthly resource which would expire on May 2, 2024. You have enabled auto-renewal and set Deduction Date for Auto-Renewal to 2 days before the resource expires. In April, you would be billed twice, one for the new subscription from April 2, 2024 to May 2, 2024 and the other for the auto-renewal from May 2, 2024 to June 2, 2024.

You can set Deduction Date for Auto-Renewal to the day the resource expires or any date up to 7 days previous. If it is not specified, Huawei Cloud will charge the resource 7 days before it expires by default.
