Copying a File

This step supports file copying between directories within hosts and file copying across hosts. The configuration is as follows:

Parameter

Description

Action Name

Customized action name displayed in the deployment actions Enter 1 to 128 characters. Do not start or end with a space. Use letters, digits, spaces, and these special characters: -_,;:./()

Copy Mode
  • To copy files from one directory to another directory on the same host, select Within host.
  • To copy files from one host to another host, select Across hosts.

Environment

The environment where applications will be copied.

Target environment

If Copy Mode is set to Across hosts, this parameter indicates the target environment.

CAUTION:

If an environment contains multiple hosts, copy files from all hosts in the target environment.

Files

Specify the source path and destination path of the file to copy. Both paths must be absolute paths.

Action Control

You can configure whether to enable this setting.

  • Keep running on failure: whether to continue the task even if this action fails.
  • Execute this action with the sudo permission: whether to use the sudo permission to deploy this action.
