Can a File System Be Accessed Across Multiple AZs?
- A single general-purpose file system can only be created in one AZ, but can be mounted to and accessed from any AZ.
- A general-purpose file system does not support cross-AZ data redundancy. If the AZ is unavailable, the general-purpose file system becomes unavailable accordingly.
