How Can I Check Whether My Bucket Policy Is Private, Public Read, or Public Read and Write?

Procedure

1. In the navigation pane of OBS Console, choose Object Storage.
2. In the bucket list, click the bucket name you want to go to the Objects page.
3. In the navigation pane, choose Permissions > Bucket Policy.
4. Check your bucket policy.
   • Private

     If there is no bucket policy configured, the bucket is private and can be accessed only by the bucket owner.

   • Public Read

     If there is a Public Read policy, anyone can access the bucket and download objects in it.

   • Public Read and Write

     If there is a Public Read and Write policy, anyone can access the bucket and upload, download, or delete objects in it.
