What Are the Precautions for Using GeminiDB DynamoDB-Compatible API?
- DB instance operating systems (OSs) are invisible to you. Your applications can access a database only through an IP address and a port.
- Backup files stored in OBS and system containers used by GeminiDB DynamoDB-Compatible API are invisible to you. They are visible only to the background management system.
- Precautions after purchasing DB instances:
After purchasing DB instances, you do not need to perform basic database O&M operations, such as applying HA and security patches, but you should still note:
- The CPU, input/output operations per second (IOPS), and space are sufficient for the DB instances.
- The DB instance has performance problems and whether optimization is required.
