Binding an EIP to or Unbinding an EIP from a Proxy Instance
After a proxy instance is created, you can bind an EIP to it. Later, you can also unbind the EIP from the proxy instance as required.
Binding an EIP to a Proxy Instance
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner and select a region and project. - Click
in the upper left corner of the page, choose . - On the Instances page, click the instance name.
- In the navigation pane, choose Database Proxy.
- Click a proxy instance name to go to the Basic Information page.
- In the Proxy Instance Information area, click Bind next to Public IP Address (EIP).
- In the displayed dialog box, select an EIP and click OK.
- On the Basic Information page, check that the EIP has been bound to the proxy instance.
Unbinding an EIP from a Proxy Instance
- On the Instances page, click the instance name.
- In the navigation pane, choose Database Proxy.
- Click a proxy instance name to go to the Basic Information page.
- In the Proxy Instance Information area, click Unbind next to Public IP Address (EIP).
- In the displayed dialog box, click Yes to unbind the EIP.
- On the Basic Information page, check that the EIP has been unbound from the proxy instance.
