Can I Change the AZ for an Instance?

No. To use a different AZ, buy another instance and migrate metadata to it.

To migrate RabbitMQ 3.x.x instance metadata, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the management UI of the purchased RabbitMQ instance.
  2. On the Overview tab page, click Download broker definitions to export the metadata.

  3. Log in to the management UI of the new instance. On the Overview tab page, click Choose File and select the metadata exported from 2.
  4. Click Upload broker definitions to upload the metadata.

    If the upload is successful, the following information is displayed:
