Why Was My Pay-per-Use Usage Not Deducted from My Resource Package?
The possible causes are as follows:
- The specifications of your resource package do not match those of your pay-per-use products.
- There are resettable resource packages and non-resettable resource packages. The details are as follows:
- Resettable resource packages: The start and end time of resource consumption is not within the effective and expiration time of the reset period of the resource package.
For example, a resource package billed by traffic is reset by day. Its validity period ranges from 2025-03-17 09:00:00 to 2025-04-18 16:00:00. The reset time is 16:00 every day.

- Non-resettable resource packages: The period from the start of resource consumption to the usage deduction does not overlap with the validity period of the resource package.
For example, a resource package billed by traffic is not resettable. Its validity period ranges from 2025-02-18 09:00:00 to 2025-03-18 16:00:00

- Resettable resource packages: The start and end time of resource consumption is not within the effective and expiration time of the reset period of the resource package.
- Your resource package is applicable to different regions from your pay-per-use products.
- Your resource package belongs to a different enterprise project from your pay-per-use products.
- Your resource package uses a different billing factor from your pay-per-use products. For example, you have purchased an OBS traffic package, but your pay-per-use products are billed by the number of requests.
In these scenarios, the resource package you purchased do not match your pay-per-use products, so you need to purchase a matching resource package.
