Simplified Queries
Uses the TABLE syntax to directly specify a particular table for query.
The operation is equivalent to performing a simple query for all table information using the SELECT syntax.
-- Create a table. gaussdb=# CREATE TABLE t1(c1 int, c2 int, c3 int); -- Insert data. gaussdb=# INSERT INTO t1 VALUES (1,2,3); c1 | c2 | c3 ----+----+---- 1 | 2 | 3 (1 row) -- Query data in the table. gaussdb=# TABLE t1; c1 | c2 | c3 ----+----+---- 1 | 2 | 3 (1 row) -- Drop. gaussdb=# DROP TABLE t1;
