Modifying a VPN Gateway

Scenario

Modify the name and description of a VPN gateway as required.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > VPN Gateways.
4. On the VPN Gateways page, locate the row that contains the VPN gateway that you want to modify, and choose More > Modify Basic Information in the Operation column.
5. Modify the VPN gateway name or description as required.
6. Click OK.

Modifying VPN Gateway Bandwidth

Scenario

When the bandwidth of a VPN gateway does not meet your service requirements, you can modify the VPN gateway bandwidth.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
3. Click Service List in the upper left corner. Under Networking, select Virtual Private Network.
4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > VPN Gateways.
5. On the VPN Gateways page, locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway and choose More > Modify Bandwidth in the Operation column.
6. Modify the bandwidth as required.
7. Click Submit.
   

   • The bandwidth of a yearly/monthly VPN gateway can only be increased.
   • The bandwidth of a pay-per-use VPN gateway can be increased or decreased.

Modifying VPN Gateway Specifications

Scenario

When the number of VPN connections associated with a VPN gateway does not meet your requirements, you can modify the VPN gateway specifications.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
3. Click Service List in the upper left corner. Under Networking, select Virtual Private Network.
4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > VPN Gateways.
5. On the VPN Gateways page, locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway, choose More > Modify Specifications in the Operation column.
6. Enter the number of required VPN connections on the displayed page.
7. Click Submit.
   

   The number of required VPN connections can only be increased.

Changing the Billing Mode of a VPN Gateway

Scenario

You can change the billing mode of a VPN gateway billed by bandwidth from pay-per-use to yearly/monthly.

A pay-per-use VPN gateway can be changed to a yearly/monthly-billed VPN gateway in the following regions: CN North-Beijing4, CN North-Beijing1, CN East-Shanghai2, CN East-Shanghai1, CN South-Guangzhou, CN South-Shenzhen, CN Southwest-Guiyang1, AP-Bangkok, CN-Hong Kong, and AF-Johannesburg.

Prerequisites

• The pay-per-use VPN gateway is billed by bandwidth.
• The number of created VPN connections is less than 10.
• The account has at least 10 remaining quotas for creating VPN connections.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
3. Click Service List in the upper left corner. Under Networking, select Virtual Private Network.
4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > VPN Gateways.
5. On the VPN Gateways page, locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway, choose More > Change Billing Mode in the Operation column.
6. In the displayed Change Billing Mode dialog box, click OK.
   

   • In the yearly/monthly billing mode, the value of Required VPN Connections is the total number of VPN connections that can be created for the VPN gateway.
   • If you change the billing mode of a VPN gateway from pay-per-use to yearly/monthly, the number of VPN connections that can be created for the VPN gateway is 10 after the change by default.
7. On the displayed page, confirm the information about the VPN gateway, configure Renewal Duration, and click Pay.
8. On the payment page, confirm the order information, select coupon or discount, select the payment method, and click Pay.
