Detaching a Network Interface from an Instance or Unbinding an EIP from a Network Interface

Scenarios

This section describes how to detach a network interface from an instance or unbind a network interface from an EIP.

  • The network interface function is currently available in region CN East-Shanghai2.
  • If Instance-dependent Deletion has been enabled, the network interface will be deleted after it is detached from the instance. You can select Retain the network interface after it is detached. to avoid deleting it.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. On the console homepage, under Network, click Virtual Private Cloud.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, click Network Interfaces.
  5. In the network interface list, locate the row that contains the target network interface, and click Detach Instance or Unbind EIP in the Operation column.
  6. Click Yes.

    If you no longer need an EP, you can release the EIP after unbinding it.
