Creating an IP Address Group

Scenarios

Create an IP address group and add IP addresses that need to be centrally managed to this group.

IP address groups are currently available in regions CN North-Beijing4, CN South-Guangzhou, and CN South-Guiyang1.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. On the console homepage, under Network, click Virtual Private Cloud.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Access Control > IP Address Groups.
  5. Click Create IP Address Group.
  6. Configure the required parameters. Table 1 lists the IP address group parameters.

    Name

    Specifies the IP address group name. This parameter is mandatory.

    The IP address group name contains a maximum of 64 characters, which may consist of letters, digits, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.). The name cannot contain spaces.

    You can customize the name of an IP address group that is uniquely identified by its ID.

    IP Address

    Specifies the IP addresses or IP address ranges included in the IP address group. You can add a maximum of 20 IP addresses or IP address ranges, and each must be on a separate line.

    For example:

    192.168.10.10 (IP address)

    192.168.52.0/24 (IP address range)

    192.168.1.1-192.168.1.50 (IP address range)

    192.168.10.10

    192.168.52.0/24

    192.168.1.1

    Description

    Provides supplementary information about the IP address group. This parameter is optional.

    The IP address group description can contain a maximum of 255 characters and cannot contain angle brackets (< or >).
