Backend Policy Configuration Using APIs
Overview
The OpenAPI component can use a processor component in logic and data processing for backend policy configuration.
Processors include Routing, Parallel Processor, Splitter, Filter, and Script. For details, see Business Flow Components. Routing is used as an example.
Prerequisites
- A ROMA Connect instance has been created.
- Each API belongs to a group. Requests from various groups are different.
Procedure
- Log in to the HUAWEI CLOUD official website and go to the ROMA Connect home page.
- Click Business Flow.
- Click Business Flow Design in the upper right corner of the page and select a creation method. In this example, use Blank Template.
- Click Create Flow above Blank Template.
- Add a source node.
- Click Add or drag an integration application to the orchestration area.
- Click the Integration Application node for configuration. For details, see Integration Application. After the configuration is complete, click OK.
- Select Open API in the API Management area on the left and drag Open API to the integration application.
- Click the Open API node for configuration. For details, see Open API. After the configuration is complete, click OK.
- Add a processor node.
Select Routing in the Processors area on the left and drag Routing to the integration application.
- Add a destination node.
- Drag Gauss200 and HTTP Client from the component list on the left to the integration application.
- Configure the Gauss200 and HTTP Client nodes.
- Connect and configure business flows.
- Connect the Open API node to the Routing node.
- Connect the Routing node to the Gauss200 and HTTP Client nodes.

- Click the lines between Routing and Gauss200 and between Routing and HTTP Client for configuration. For details, see Routing.
- Click
in the upper right corner of the page and check whether configurations are correct.
- If incorrect, reconfigure the nodes.
- If correct, go to 10.
- Click Save in the upper right corner of the page to save the business flow configuration.
- Start a business flow.
Click Start in the upper right corner of the page. If the task is started successfully, a success message will be displayed.
